Karen Spire has over 30 years of restaurant experience. After graduating from The Restaurant School of Philadelphia, Karen was offered an apprenticeship and later a permanent position with the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. During the following years, she enhanced her skills by working closely with restauranteur, Kevin Meeker, at Philadelphia Fish and Company in Old City, Philadelphia.
Karen began her catering business after receiving numerous requests to cater the weddings of friends and family. As additional requests from devoted clientele followed, Karen decided to make her catering business a full-time venture. Karen would soon discover that catering was her true calling.
Karen believes in the credo “always exceed the client’s expectations,” and she does just that. She has made it her mission to create the most exquisite culinary dishes, employ the finest staff, and always push the creative boundaries of the food industry. Whether you desire a locally produced, organic menu or your grandmother’s special family recipe, Karen will work with you to devise the perfect menu for your special occasion.
